I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
